We built The Oceanside Collective because we kept seeing the same thing. Ambitious businesses with the resources to grow, left without a partner who would actually stay in it with them.
The Oceanside Collective was born from a shared frustration. Both of us had spent years inside the rooms where real business decisions get made. We had seen firsthand what it looked like when a company had real potential but no one in their corner who understood the full picture.
Most advisors show up with a framework and a deck. They deliver recommendations and disappear. The businesses that actually grow are the ones with partners who stay, who adapt when the plan needs to change, and who care about outcomes as much as the client does.
That is what we set out to build. Not another consulting firm. A collective. A curated network of expertise that businesses gain access to through two people who have been on both sides of the table and know exactly what it takes.
Together we bring something rare. The legal and technology market knowledge to navigate one of the most complex buying environments in business. The innovation and organizational design expertise to help companies not just plan but actually transform. And a partner network broad enough to meet any need a growing business encounters along the way.
Julie is a legal technology strategist and business development expert with 10+ years of experience working inside and alongside law firms. She built her career helping legal technology companies find their footing in one of the most relationship-driven markets in business and helping law firms modernize and grow.
She has a deep understanding of how lawyers think, what makes them buy, and what it actually takes to build trust in the legal market. That insight is not something you can learn from a course. It comes from years of being in the room.
Julie has spoken on panels about AI and the legal industry and worked with firms of every size, from solo practitioners to large regional firms. She brings that same candor, warmth, and directness to every client she works with at The Oceanside Collective.
Her approach is simple. Listen deeply. Be honest. Stay until it works.
Jessica spent 15+ years inside corporate America before she ever stepped into a consulting room. She ran pricing strategy, revenue management, and commercial innovation at a national scale in the alcobev industry. She knows what it feels like to be the client in that room. The pressure of a board meeting, a missed forecast, a product launch that did not land.
That experience shapes everything she does now. At a leading global management consulting firm, she designs and facilitates innovation workshops and strategy sessions for executive teams across Life Sciences, Consumer Goods, Retail, Telecom, and Biopharma. Her background in IO Psychology and Design Thinking means she pays as much attention to what is happening between the people in the room as she does to the problem on the whiteboard.
Her core belief is that most organizations do not have a strategy problem. They have a clarity problem. Get clear on where you are going and why, and everything else gets easier.
She is completing a Master of Engineering in Supply Chain Management because, as she puts it, the best innovators never stop being students.
The Oceanside Collective is woman-owned, Latina-owned, and LGBTQ+-owned. We lead with that not because we want a label but because representation in this industry matters and we know firsthand what it means to walk into a room and not see yourself at the table.
We built The Oceanside Collective to change that in whatever small way we can. Not by talking about it. By doing the work with the same rigor, care, and excellence that any firm with a famous name and a midtown office would bring.
We work with a select number of clients at a time. If you are ready to grow and want a partner who will stay until you do, we would love to hear from you.
